Aslesha Ammana Manchi*
An Indian astrologer says the Stars have bad news for US in the New Year. The Eldorado of the world may face unprecedented economic and social challenges accentuated by financial instability, public unrest, and natural disasters, opines Mumbai-based Aslesha Ammana Manchi.
The year 2025 may bring unprecedented economic and social challenges for the United States, influenced by complex planetary alignments and transits that align with America’s astrological chart. Based on astrological interpretations, these celestial movements suggest a period of significant turbulence, marked by financial instability, public unrest, and potential natural disasters.
Planetary Configuration- A Concern
Several critical astrological events will unfold in 2025, with the most impactful one occurring on March 29, when:
1. Saturn transits from Aquarius to Pisces: This transition coincides with a new moon and a partial solar eclipse.
2. Six-planet conjunction in Pisces: The Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Saturn, and Rahu will align in Pisces, which represents the second house in the U.S. chart (Aquarius moon sign).
3. Combustion of Mercury and Moon: These planets’ close proximity to the Sun diminishes their benefic influences.
4. Malefic Influence of Rahu: All planets conjoining Rahu lose their benefic nature, exacerbating malefic effects.
5. Jupiter’s Transit to the Fifth House (Gemini): On May 15, Jupiter will move into the fifth house, a position typically associated with the stock market and investments. However, due to its condition of Atichara (rapid motion), Jupiter will fail to provide relief and will transit into the sixth house (Cancer) by October, further weakening its influence.
This rare alignment directly impacts the second house, which governs national wealth, economic stability, currency strength, and financial resources.
Impact on Key Astrological Houses
- Second House (National Wealth and Economy)
The conjunction of six planets in the second house signifies severe financial turbulence. The depositor of the second house, Jupiter, is poorly positioned in the fourth house and later enters Atichara in the fifth house, offering no relief.
These alignments suggest:
- A weakened U.S. dollar.
- Instability in financial systems.
- Aggressive government policies that may worsen the economic situation.
2. First House (National Identity and Public Health)
Saturn, the ruling planet of Aquarius, influences the first house, bringing challenges to the nation’s overall outlook. Public dissatisfaction and health crises may emerge during this period.
3. Fourth House (Peace and Communal Harmony)
Venus, the ruler of the fourth house, becomes malefic due to its proximity to Rahu, leading to unrest and domestic discord. Natural calamities, such as storms or earthquakes, could further disrupt peace in April and May.
4. Fifth House (Stock Market and Investments)
Jupiter’s entry into the fifth house on May 15 typically indicates opportunities in the stock market. However, due to its Atichara motion and subsequent transit into the sixth house by October, no substantial gains are expected. Mercury’s combust state further forewarns a sharp decline in stock market performance, stagnant investments, and financial losses lasting at least six months.
5. Seventh House (Foreign Affairs and Living Standards)
Mars will transit the seventh and eighth houses from June to September, affecting foreign relations, trade agreements, and domestic living standards. Unemployment and inflation are expected to reach alarming levels.
6. Ninth House (Judiciary and Fortune)
Venus’s malefic state could lead to judicial setbacks and a general sense of misfortune for the nation.
Sade Sati and Saturn
The U.S. is also under the influence of Saturn’s seven-and-a-half-year cycle (Sade Sati), which is in its final and most intense phase. This period often brings major challenges, including financial constraints, public unrest, and slowed progress. Combined with the planetary configurations, these factors amplify the likelihood of economic hardship and societal instability.
Economic Crisis, Unrest
From March to October 2025, these astrological influences predict:
* A major economic crisis, with declining revenue and budgetary imbalances.
* Rising inflation and widespread unemployment.
* A volatile stock market hitting record lows.
* Public agitation and restlessness, as dissatisfaction with the government’s response grows.
Natural Calamities and Social Impacts
April and May could bring natural disasters, such as earthquakes or cyclones, further straining the nation’s resources and exacerbating societal unrest. Housing and communal harmony may also face significant challenges, adding to the nation’s woes.
Conclusion: A Call for Resilience
As the U.S. navigates through this tumultuous period, these astrological insights underscore the need for strategic governance and societal resilience. While astrology offers a lens through which to interpret potential challenges, proactive measures and collective efforts can mitigate adverse outcomes.
God Bless America.
